Documentation for LG.COM
DOS's "Shift-PrtScr" feature only works with text screens. DOS includes
a ram-resident program, GRAPHICS.COM, which will work with IBM and
EPSON type printers to allow printing graphics screens with the Shift-
PrtScr command. Many other similar programs have been written to support
various screen modes (CGA, EGA, VGA, Hercules, etc.) and various printers.
To use any of these programs, you must first load the screen dump program
into memory. Then you can run a graphics program and use Shift PrtScr to
print an image on your printer. The graphics program you use must be
designed to be compatible with both your screen and your printer. Further,
the program which put the graphics image on the screen must not block the
operation of the Shift PrtScr function or interfere with it in any way.
LG.COM is a screen dump program which can be used to dump a graphics screen
to an HP Laserjet type printer. This program has been tested and found
to work with Getart and an HP LaserJet Series II printer so is included
for your convenience at no charge.
The documentation which I received with the LG program follows:

LG is a laser graphics dump. Mine is small and can dump to
LPT1: to 3:. It replaces the normal Shift-PrtScr function. It
also shows progress and beeps when it is done. There are several out
there, now you have another option. To use LG enter:
LG n
where n is the printer number.
